Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman has been a gymnast in the U.S. for more than ten years. She was a member and was captain of the US Olympic women's gymnastics team The Fierce Five (2012) and Final Five (2016). In the 2012 Olympics in London she took home gold medals for floor and team competitions, as well as a bronze medal on the balance beam. As a result, she was the very first American at the Olympics with the highest amount of medals. In 2016, she and her teammate Gabby Doug were the very first Americans who won back-toback golds in team competitions. Additionally, she won silver medals for the all-around individual event and in the floor workout. Three years had passed since she last competed in gymnastics competitions. In addition, she was part of two world championship gold winning teams. Her first experience with gymnastics began at age of two and her most loved event is Floor Exercise. Aly contributes to the Uniting Against Lung Cancer charity in memory of her deceased grandmother. She is planning to pursue an occupation in fashion and hopes to broaden her leotard line as well as socks in the future. Fierce is a novel she is working on is due out sometime in the coming year.
