Jacques Bermon Webster II (born April 30 1991) is better known under his stage name Travis Scott (formerly stylized as Travi$ Scott) is an American musician, rapper and songwriter as well as record producer. The stage name he uses is that of a loved uncle and is also the first name of Kid Cudi, his inspiration (whose real name was Scott Mescudi). In 2012, Scott signed his first major label deal with Epic Records. He also signed a publishing deal for GOOD Music with Kanye West. In April 2013 Scott signed a joint recording contract with Epic and T.I. He is signed to Epic as well as T.I.'s Grand Hustle imprint. Scott's debut album Owl Pharaoh was self-released on his own in the year 2013. The mixtape was later followed by Days Before Rodeo in 2014. Rodeo (2015) marked the release of his debut studio album. The hit song, "Antidote", was included on the album. The second album, Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) was a top one on the Billboard 200. Scott released Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) alongside Quavo under the name of Huncho Jack. In the year 2018, Astroworld was released to praise from the critics. The album produced his first Billboard Hot 100 top 100 single, "Sicko Mode" feat. Drake. Scott's album JackBoys was released in late in 2019 by Cactus Jack Records. It made it to the top of the Billboard 200. Scott's track "Franchise" with Young Thug, M.I.A. and other artists, came out. Scott was the first rapper to be ranked the top spot on the Hot 100 with three songs in less than a year.
